  • Oversee project management and lead cross-functional teams, in supporting and achieving AHA commitments, including the Health Impact and Health Engagement Goals and Strategies to attain a 20% health improvement for all Americans by 2020.

  • Staff Lead for the National Diversity Leadership Committee comprised of 30 industry thought leaders.

  • Volunteer management of 50+ local, regional and national volunteers.

Director of Marketing

  • Provided direct strategic input to develop and integrate marketing and communications strategy that resulted in 1.7 billion impressions.

  • The Power to End Stroke cause has engaged over 668,000 individuals since inception, which resulted in 55% making lifestyle changes and 80% being satisfied with the campaign and its’ assets. 

  • Established the criteria for identifying and recruiting Volunteer Ambassadors (Key Opinion Leaders) within diverse communities.  As a result, over 30,000+ Ambassadors were recruited and these Ambassadors led at least one health activity during the course of the year.
